Alain Brutus Memorial Scholarship Application
Downstage Center Dance Studio
Thank you for your interest in the Alain Brutus Memorial Scholarship. We look forward to learning about you and your love of the performing arts.
Alain (DSC graduating class of 2019) was a beloved member of our Downstage Center dance family who loved singing, acting and dancing. He went on to study Musical Theater at Rider University and made his Broadway debut in Aladdin in 2025.
In his memory, this scholarship provides full tuition at Downstage Center Dance Studio for one student who shares his passion for the performing arts. We are honored to celebrate Alain’s life by helping another performer learn, grow, and pursue their dreams.
Students may apply themselves, or a parent or guardian may complete the application on their behalf.
