Diversity, equity, access, and inclusion are integral to the mission of the Downstage Center Dance Studio. We actively seek to encourage students and families from diverse backgrounds to train, learn and feel welcomed at our studio. By emphasizing the importance of voices and perspectives that have been under-represented, misrepresented and/or ignored, we grow stronger, gain perspective and better connect to our world. We embrace differences in identity—not only including age, race, ethnicity, religion and gender but also language, disability, sexual orientation, gender identification, socioeconomic status, citizen status and perspective.
