Submit your Love Letter and WIN!
On February 12, 13, 14th, the Downstage Center Dance Studio is producing a show with their dancers and guest singers called “LOVE LETTERS”. This will be sell out performances at the ActorsNET of Bucks County’s Heritage Center Theater in Morrisville, Pa www.Actorsnetbucks.org
The show is based on actual documents submitted by individuals intended for loved ones.
THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN…
Submit your letter from now until January 9th. If your Love Letter is chosen, it will be read (in brief, if it is long) arranged to appropriate music and choreographed into a dance piece performed by a soloist or group.
The dance interpretation will directly reflect the intention of the letter.
Love Letters that will be considered include, but are not limited to:
Romantic letters, long distance letters, war-time letters, mother/daughter letters, father/son letters, sibling letters, thank you letters, teen love letters, childhood love letters, diary love letters, friendship letters, etc….
The Winner: At Friday and Saturday night performances, the audience will have a chance to vote for their favorite piece/love letter. Sunday, the votes will be tallied and announced after the performance.
The Winner will receive: Dinner for two in the cozy atmosphere of Peddler’s Village.
